why you’ll never change

people say they’re ready to change.

people say they’re committed to being the best father and husband.

people say they’re committed to being the best version of themselves.

but when it comes down to it, they retreat back to their comfort zones.

they suddenly go from being ‘100% ready to take action’ to ‘I need to think about.’

they suddenly need to speak to their wife, or assess their finances.

they take the first step by reaching out and asking for help.

but they don’t show up to the call, then ghost follow up messages.

they think they’re unique, and these are the actions of only them.

but it happens so often, I can predict what people are going to say and do.

if you were serious about change, if you were committed to your family.

you wouldn’t need to speak to your wife, you would want to start NOW.

you wouldn’t need to think about it first, you would want to take action NOW.

thinking too much and not taking action is what got you to this point.

thinking too much, has got you to the point of failing your wife and kids.

thinking too much, has got you to the point of your physical and mental health suffering.

you don’t need anymore time to think, you need to do the opposite and take action.

you need to stop being afraid of change, and you need to stop making excuses.

because if you don’t, you’ll spend 2024 stuck in the same vicious cycle.

potentially, even worse, as your habits, physical and mental health deteriorate further…
